When I was very young, I used to draw on anything - from the back of a bus ticket to the bathroom wall! My perceptive mother encouraged me and bought me materials to work with, then from just eleven years old, I was trained in oils and went to weekend art school sessions at the Laird School of Art in Birkenhead. I sold my first painting when I was twelve and never looked back. After years of painting in oils, I switched to watercolour, and now work in a wide range of media including watercolour, oil, acrylic and pastel. My work is in private collections in over twenty countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Thailand and all stops in between!. My work featured for several years as the work of 'Molly MacDonald' (played by Susan Hampshire) in the BBC TV series 'Monarch of the Glen'.
